ECO4 Funding for Falkirk
The ECO (Energy Company Obligation) scheme is a government initiative which is now available to a wide range of homeowners in Falkirk.
Launching in 2013, 2024 saw the 4th iteration of the funding, which offers grants for air source heat pumps, insulation and, in some cases, solar panels.
The funding ends on 31st of March 2026, so we are urging householders to check their eligibility and receive funding while there is still time.

Who can benefit from ECO4 in Falkirk?
The goal of ECO4 is to help low-income households whose homes are not energy efficient. To be eligible for the ECO4 scheme and receive access to funding in Falkirk, you must receive one of the following benefits:
- Income-based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA)
- Income Support (IS)
- Income-related Employment & Support Allowance (ESA)
- Credit Working Tax Credit (WTC)
- Pension Credit Savings Credit
- Pension Credit Guarantee
- Universal Credit (UC)
- Housing Benefit
- Child Tax Credits (CTC)

How can ECO4 help you save money on bills?
ECO4 will help you reduce your monthly energy bills by funding the implementation of insulation, installing heating and boiler systems, and incentivising the repair or improvement of existing systems where possible.
In 2021, more than 9,000 energy-saving measures were installed across the UK. This amounted to a total savings of £103,340,191 according to Energy Management reports. The UK government expect this to continue to rise in 2025.
